The effects of resin aren t to be underestimated. I understand cooking off the THC and extracting most of it (by burning it), but if you accumulate a large amount of resin yes it will get you high especially if the resin accumulates in a bowl, pipe, chillum, etc. and I recommend a bowl or pipe because they contain no water and are easy to get resin out of. Weed resin can get you high but when we talk weighing the two high s effectiveness we can t because the main thing is a resin high is a different high than what a weed high is.

No, and what Thomas said is incorrect as well. His method of hoping to accumulate additional THC by caking the bud resin is also not a good comparison to your question. First off, by doing his above mentioned method the bud will gain and lose some THC at the same time and it also can overly dry the bud. As far as resin in a bowl, sure it can get you high, but it's not as potent as a fresh new budand it really just doesn't taste all that good. I don't smoke resin, one reason I like marijuana is because it tastes good, resin does not. It's obvious that there wouldn't be MORE THC because most of the THC has been cooked off/out.
