Question:

Heating of alradite resin and hardener?

First and foremost, what happens when resin and hardener[unmixed] are left at room temeprature? Will they hardener?I'm quite sure both will not harden unless they're mixed but i need some comfirmation.Secondly,When resin is heated or hardener is heated, their viscoisty are reduced. What happens when they re heated at high temperaure for an extended period?I assume they degrade?Sorry,i don't have access to DSC ATM but need to type a report asap

Answer:

There has to be smoke coming out of the oven somewhere, else the smoke detector wouldn't go off. See it's all in the name, smoke .. detector. In other words, it detects smoke and only smoke. I'd say the top of your fridge is probably the worst place to place an oven. Not only for your smoke alarm, but for your fridge. All that heat coming off the bottom of the oven isn't going to do good things to your fridge.
Get a battery power draining kit that works through sheetrock and wood. Drain the batteries fast before they overheat and catch fire as the commonly do in this situation. Then get a new detector and put in a place that you can change the batteries. Have a fire extinguisher on the ready as this is an extremely flammable task. You may consider shaving your chest first.
It probably brings an electrical overload into your kitchen. That can cause smoke, even if you can't see it.
