Question:

help with some chemistry please?

1What happens to electrons from aluminum as they form aluminum cations? Where do they and their charge go? (remember that charge is conserved)2Why must we use sulfuric acid, H2SO4 in these reactions rather than HCl or HNO3?2KAl(OH)4 + H2SO4 -gt; 2Al(OH)3 + K2SO4 + 2H2O2Al(OH)3 + 3H2SO4 -gt; Al2(SO4)3 + 6H2O

Answer:

1.)Aluminum Cations only form when combining with non metal anions and aluminum gives its electron to the non metal atom which then forms a non metal anion2.) Im not positive but it's maybe because of the acidity of those acids.
