Question:

How A Fighter Jet Locks A Target?

I was playing Tom Clancy's HAWX and I remembered something I wanted to know since I was a kid. How does a fighter pilot lock on the his target? As in, is the lock automatic once the jet detects the enemy? Or does the pilot have to press a stick button and then fire the missile?

Answer:

im going to the game tonight there will be no need for a riot tonight.. I hope :S
Nah, I live in Van and it's been really tame win or lose. I think the Olympics sucked some of the city's energy for this Spring :P
we only like to riot up in here Canada when we win, not when we lose. I do think the Canucks are going to force a game 7 tonight, though.
Firefighters are not armed police. Who would even think that something like that would even happen in a small town? Also, I know of no protocol where the firefighters sit and wait for the police to arrive before going to work. And, it would not have mattered, they were ambushed as soon as they left their truck.
pfft, they won't win. I guarantee it.
