How are car brake systems related to Hydraulics and Pascals Law?
99.99% of cars use hydraulic brakes and follow all of the laws.
Pascal's law or Pascal's principle states that pressure exerted anywhere in a confined liquid is transmitted equally and undiminished in all directions throughout the liquid. A hydraulic system uses force that is applied at one point and is transmitted to another point using an incompressible fluid. You step on the brake, and the fluid pressure moves a pad against the rolling tires, the resulting friction stops movement of the tires. It's all in the text book if you had read it. Good luck with your classes.
