I have pickled the copper and brass sanded it then fluxed it and put it together nice and flush. I tried putting the solder on the edges where they meet. Ive tried torching it from the bottom in circular motion away from the solder and the solder wont seem to melt and have had no luck PLEASE HELP!!!!
You use the word, sheet , which makes me think the heat is getting dissipated too quickly. I would 1. heat up one sheet and put solder on it, let it cool and then introduce the other and reheat. Or. just apply more heat. This should be an easy job, if you are using a torch without any gas you will not melt the metal.
Two copper sheets will solder together nicely, brass and copper-no dice.
