Question:

how do you lift up a motorcycle to change the rear tire without a rear stand?

please i must know!

Answer:

Secure the front wheel -- I park against a low brick wall and use ropes and stakes tied to the handlebars to stop them from moving. I then use a floor jack under the middle of the bike. If you don't have a floor jack you could likely pick up the rear wheel and slip something under the middle of the bike. Be sure not to bend any low hanging exhaust.
