Question:

how do you make metal?

i want to know how to make metal... doesn't have to be the safest way. i just want to make metal.supplies and specific directions

Answer:

Well,I don't have the exact definition.. You got the definition somewhere right above me.... But some bands that are Nu Metal are.... Linkin Park(Good) Limp Bizkit(Ok,I kind of like them) P.O.D(Decent) Korn(Never heard them) Disturbed(there ok) Its kind of like rock and rap Or Metal and rap combine together....mostly rock and Rap
Rant all you %, yet i think of hair metallic is worse. the two genres stink as an entire, yet there are certainly a pair nu-metallic bands i like, although none of them are Korn or Slipknot or Limp Bizkit or bands like that. BQ: Yeah. BQ2: some bands alongside with (a minimum of so a ways as i be attentive to) unwell Nino, Nonpoint, and Deftones are nevertheless going solid, yet all others have the two diminished or replaced their sound.
eh....i guess the best way to describe it is it's basiclly rap lyrics (sort of) put together with rock. there's alot of bands that are put into that genre that really shouldn't be in that genre. some of my favoirte bands are: Linkin Park Limp Bizkit P.O.D Korn Rage Agaisnt The Machine Disturbed but really, it all comes down to your personal preference. you could like some of the nu metal bands and hate the others edit: but alot of people say nu metal sucks because it's just a rip off of metal and that you have a terrible sense of taste if you like any of the bands. find out for yourself if you think it sucks or is actually good. don't go listening to everyone elses opinions
I am not sure either ,Clayton. Its a broad BS genre. Look at the bands who are called Nu Metal... How can Limp bizkit , Papa Roach. Static X ( who I like ), Kittie( How are also okay ) and all these bands be remotely alike. Its pure BS. Some decent bands are lumped into the Nu Metal Genre. As far as Genres go its a stupid one. Edit: I can not believe that Manson, Orgy and some of the other bands on Dark Av's list are even on there. ( I know its not his list but the one he found. ) I also happen to love Union Underground.
Like what someone said, It's a toss up of Rap and Grunge (although im not sure if thats the right word) together. What people missed is that it has a more industrialized feel to it, if it didn't it'd just be limp bizkit, and thats a waste of time. Bands like Slipknot are a good example of nu metal. Korn is something else. It's just freakin' sweet!
