I have searched over 100 sites on how to build a hand cranked can crusher. Im looking for step by step instructions on how to build a can crusher with a flywheel, pistons, and whatever. If anybody can give me STEP-BY-STEP instructions on that I would like that. Or if someone can give different ideas that will be fine too. I m NOT wanting a manual one that you have to pull down to crush the can. I want a hand cranked one so when I turn the flywheel it will have a rod connected to it to make the piston move to crush the can, or something like that.
Having never built one I can only imagine how I would go about building it... Put a screw mechanism, like a C clamp that would clamp down into the can. You would need more surface area on the can though. Or you could just get a vice.
