Hey everyone, I am moving into my dads house for the summer and he happens to have a basement bedroom just for me. However, this room is going to have to be updated. The carpet is blue not exactly navy and not light blue either and the walls have paneling on them. I want to work with the carpet and I know blue and yellow go together but I'm not crazy about that color comboI wanted to paint the paneling and wanted some other ideas on how to make this space acceptable. I'm 19 and very girly, however I'm not opposed to a more adult room if I think i will like it (golds, neutral tones, etc) Please help me I move in less than 2 weeks

Well, the most noted incident involving the things you mentioned was the integration of the University of Arkansas - Governor George Wallace had stated the university would never be integrated and US Marshals escorted black students to school. Intregration of school in some parts of the south was a very difficult period in our country.
