1992 plymounth voyeger service light is on how to reset this light
You must find out what is setting the light to come and correct the problem You will need to get the computer scanned at a local parts store and find what sensor is setting the code. Correct the problem and the light will go out
that one is easy to re-set because it has the obd II system on it ,this can be done by removing the battery cable and waiting a minute or two before installing it back on,but you need to find out what set the light to come on other wise it will come back on again,there may be a problem with the vehicle and re-setting the light wont cure that,good luck with it.
It is a 92 witch means you OBD1. To reset your serice light disconnect the battery for 10 seconds. This resets all your sensors and clears the trouble codes. If your service comes back then one of your sensors are malfuctioning or one of them are sencing a problem in either your ABS, fuel, emissions, electrical, or vacuum systems and to figure out what is going on you will need to have an engine diagnostic done. You can take it to a dodge dealer or you can check locally to see if there is an auto shop that can do an engine diagnostic for you. You can also call your local parts stores and see if they can but they might not have the adaptor for OBD1.
