Hello and thanks for any helpI have a 1970's home that I want to put a new HV-AC system inMy home is 50x26 (1300 sq ft) it is a raised ranch style where stairs are open to the basement just about center of the homeThere are a total of 12 normal sized replacement windows and two exterior doorsHomes insulation is 3.5 in the walls blown isolation and about 8 inches in the atticKitchen is on the ground floor with great stove ventilationLooking to put in a Natural Gas horizontal system forced hot air in the attic and adding a coil and condenser for the Central ACHow to size or any info would be appreciated!!

All information is stored on your hard driveYour operating system, your information, music, pictures, videos, documents etc All of it is binary code(0's and 1's separated magnetically), basically there is a binary code for all characters on your keyboard, this will translate ultimately into programs you and I can understandSo if you want a letter a or A you have to have the binary code to represent the letter, so the same thing applies if you want a space, etcOf course along the line this code become commands and sooner you know you can open files, programs and finally point to links to open your digital mediaYou are right after a while your hard drive is bound to give up and by that I mean stop workingAll devices with moving parts or electrical(usb external memory) sooner or later have to brake downMy best recommendation is that you save your precious information on dvds, the reason is that a dvd holds just about 5 times more information than a cd.
I agree with SandShark - It all depends on what part of the country you live inIf you are in the northern band of the country you should pay particular attention to the followingThe duct work should be well-insulated and sealedThe furnace cannot be a 90% + condensing type because the furnace could be damaged due to freezing of the condensation of the flue gasesAnother way around this is to have spray foam insulation installed on the underside of the roof and the gable endsThis will turn your attic into a semi-conditioned spaceSome people might argue you are heating extra space by doing this - in a sense you are but in reality you will save energyIt reduces the ex-filtration of heated air that is normally lost through the attic It reduces the amount of heat that is lost from the ducts (even insulated ducts can lose 10% to 15% of the heat before it ever reaches the rooms)You will be able to upgrade to a 90% + condensing furnace that will save you $$ on your heating billsYou'll eliminate ice dams (icycles) on the roofIf you decide to go the spray foam route, pay the extra money for a modulating gas furnace - it will provide better comfortFinally, be sure the HVAC installer uses rectangular supply air registers instead of round registers because round registers tend to dissipate the heated air along the ceiling while the rectangular registers tend to force the air downwardBefore you hire talk to a contractor, go to the Source link below37 year HVAC veteran
