My laptop keeps telling me to consider replacing my battery pack ?

I have a HP G61 Notebook PC, my battery icon has a little X over it and a plugand a msg appears and says to replace my battery pack however its plugged in and charging and is at 100 %. Also whenever i take out the charger, my laptop looses energy fastwhats wrong with it

There are a few possible answers to what you might have done to your laptop to cause the battery to act like this. A. you spilled some liquid on it (maybe accidentally/unknowingly) b. your battery sucks (very unlikely( c. you overcharge your battery too much by leaving your laptop plugged in all the time even when it is at 100% power. The most common is C
Your battery is bad. Sometimes they just go out like that. Batteries are expensive, but if you can keep it plugged in you're good to go. Otherwise you'll have to buy a new one.
i would say battery, unless charger is bad.
if this message is coming from your laptop than immediately change your battery pack if you won't it harms your laptop system
I have the same quandary additionally, and my computing device is keep telling me to interchange that battery for two or 3 weeks. However there's no longer have got to fear for the well being of computer. You can change the battery at any time when you want. You simply cannot use your desktop in battery use more than half-hour i guess.
