Question:

things that are safe to use to make a marijuana pipe?

i think the top says it all but i want a pipe that is safe to smoke out of and not toxic even though smoke is bad for you anyways i don't see any point in killing myself quicker then i need to so i want something that don't burn doesn't make it taste nasty and isn't poisonous and is a household item or easy to get without spending money

Answer:

No. Use black pipe designed for direct burial. It has a green coating.
you will have to check local/state codes but most generally you can buy gastite it a stainless flexible line coated in plastic that comes on a spool you cut to length and then put fittings on both ends. Most genneraly it has to have a air test for the local inspector and cannot be buried until they sign off.
Do you mean lock nut? The question you are asking could have many answers. For example there is a lock nut that has a molly type locking thread. There is a liquid type nut lock. Its called loctite. Actually this is called thread locks. There is another type of nut lock. It is used for locking lug nuts on to rims. More of an anti theft lug nut. Then there is a nut lock that is actually a lock washer for locking the nut on to a threaded bolt. So the answer could be so many things. We need more information to answer the question.
Stainless can be used for anything. Schedule 40 is same as the black iron you would use. The black iron pipe that is reccomended has a plastic coating and you wrap the joints with this really good tape and it lasts forever also. Just pay atention to the joints and use good pipe dope because it is dificult to get good threads with stainless unless you use a good threader. An advantage of stainless over plastic is you won't damage stainless schedule 40 with a shovel or tiller. BTW most areas won't allow galvanize or copper because the natural gas has sulphur in it and sulphur corrades both.
