Question:

If your son had a learning disability would you let him pull the fire alarm in a fire if you were safe?

If your son had a learning disability like ADD or Aspergers would you let him pull the fire alarm in a fire if you were safe? This question is answered if you were far away from the fire. They say to pull the alarm and not call 911. Any personal advice? How would you know if your son wanted to pull it would you go with him? What would you say before he pulls the alarm? Would it be normal for your son to read the directions on the alarm out loud? How would you offer advice or a helping hand? Would you offer him advice how to pull the handle if so how?Would you want your son to be the hero so he feels a sense of accomplishment in such a situation?

Answer:

Radioactivity In Smoke Detectors
The New York Sun and the Philadelphia Enquirer published them and ABC News showed some of the cartoons on a broadcast. Why didn't more of the media join in on the fun? Editorial policy - most papers don't publish material which is extremely offensive to a religious group.(Would you continue to read a paper which showed images offensive to Christians, such as a crucifix standing in a pail of urine.) Further, there was little news value in showing the cartoons themselves: they were dreamed up by a right wing Danish newspaper as a publicity stunt, and they were easy to find on the internet.
