i think press wood is a rip off for the people that by's press wood furniture anyone agreas with me.
Press wood has been around since the late 50's and yes it is garbadge
Press wood as you call it might better known as particle board. It was invneted in the 50's due to a shortage of timber. in reality is well suited for aplications such as cabinets and vanities as well as furniture that is not moved much like a china hutch. It is actually a viable product and proably appears more often that you realize. not to mention it is cheap and easily made from the scraps of timber that would other wise be thrown away.
