Question:

Is it ok for me to straighten my hair?

I have not straightened it for 2 yearsI'm really scared of damaging it, but I would like to straighten it since I'm going out tonight with my boyfriendIt's wavy/curlyHow can i avoid some damage? Or will there be much damage.

Answer:

Iron is the ONLY magnetic metaliron alloys are NOT particularly conductive there is NO SUCH THING as a magnetic metal other than iron
No, Best conductors of electricity are, Gold, Platinum, Silver, then Copper and Brass, Note brass is an alloy of copper and zincBut the combination of these two element's make it much harder than 'softish' copper, and so make it the reason why it is why it for electrical terminals, screws, binding posts, switch contacts Best magnetic metals are; Neodymium, Cobalt, Samarium, Iron, and Nickel Alloys of the above, create the most powerful magnets known to man and are used primarily in Medical scanners, synchrotron's, particle accelerators, including machines such as the LHC, Large Hadron Collider, at CERN in Switzerland.
Make sure you use a thermal heat protector spray in your hair before you straighten it to avoid damageIt should protect your hair from the heat and also try using a ceramic straightener, it's better for your hair.
