Question:

Leaking rear axle?

I noticed that the rear axle of my 1990 Ford Bronco II is leaking after it runs. Why is that?

Answer:

there are two items that could causing this leak. one is a possible leaking rear wheel cylinder, which means you may be going thru brake fluid. the other is a possible rear axle seal, which requires pulling that axle to replace. always inspect the axle bearing when doing this to ensure that you don't have other issues. hope this helps
That would be a leaky seal.
