Question:

mounting a smoke detector.?

hey, i would like to mount my smoke detector to my ceiling. I dont want to put any holes in the ceiling though, since i already put many in the walls. Is there any way i could mount the detector without using screws/nails. I herd of removable mounting tape, but i found that it still took off the paint. My ceiling is fairly but not perfectly smooth. I dont know how to descibe it, but its kinda a bumpy ceiling.PS. The detector is very light.Thanks,Chris.

Answer:

When you slam on hydraulic barkes, the hydraulics will hold the brake pads tight on the rotor to stop the tire from rotating. If the momentum of the car keeps the car moving forward while the tires have stopped turning, you get a lock up situation. Anti-lock brakes do the same thing except there is a valve that will open and close automatically keeping the tires from locking up.
theres usually 2-3 indicators that are visible once you take off the battery door, some may be located elsewhere upon further disassembly, there should be red spots on the indicator, thats normal, its when it comes incontact with excessive moisture or direct water is when the red bleeds and turn the indicator completely red
