I bought a memory card and reader and i dont have a slot which i can put the memory card into when i want to put music on it etc is there anything else which i can use to put a memory card into my laptop so i can put music on it then pop it into my phone Pictures, suggestions,web info etc BTW my laptop is hp pavillion ze4900
well you can get a usb thumb drive instead of those cards. as long as it has a usb port it'll work. another way would be to purchase an external card reader. if you are refering to buying a card reader but the reader doesnt have the slot for your card you may need to track down a adapter for it. what card is it?
There is a card reader that has a USB slot or connector that you can connect to your computer.
You will need to buy a memory card reader with an USB connection to your laptop. Reader are inexpensive, it ranges from $7 to $25. There are many types out there will read SD, MMC, MS, FD, etc. You have not mention what kind of memory card you are using. just to makle sure it lists what your card type on the reader. If you are running Windows 98, you will need to load the driver of the card reader. Good luck!
