Question:

need help figuring out what a tool that was given to me really is?

A guy I did some work for gave me this machine he thought it was a power slip roll but it only has two rollers. Is set up similarly, but the rolls are coated in thick rubber. the electric drive can be switched to drive the rolls clockwise and counter clockwise. I though it may be some type of cold laminating press or plate lithography press but can't verify this, the 3/4 h motor is very powerful, a gear reduction drive drop the rpm down to about 40. this is not a home made machine the rubber rollers 48 long 3 dia coated in rubber 1/2'' thick both rollers are driven the gap between the rollers can be adjusted at both ends I have hunted a picture but can't find one I would really like to know what this is

Answer:

will give you a fix it ticket where you pay a fine and have to go to patrol office to show have you have removed.
This actually just happened to me about 10 minutes ago (not a fire, thank God, just a false alarm)! My cat freaked out and ran under the bed. I moved the bed and shooed her out, grabbed a thick blanket, and wrapped it around her. The advice about soft carriers is good - I think I'm going to do that myself, as if it would have been a real fire/emergency situation, holding her for that long would have been tiring (she was squirming and fighting me). Not to mention it's raining, and it never rains here, so that freaked her out.
