so I have a good brand chair for gaming and after waking up one day I went to sit down to send out some business emails before getting to work and I noticed that it's leans back a lot further now. Look for cracked or failing welds or joints. Those are frequent issues with office chairs over time. If you locate one clean the metal and apply a new weld. That central mount point used without bracing is a really bad design used by most chairs. The metal flexes and fatigues. Especially when moving around and leaning.
