Had copper Iud inserted 2 days ago.. The pain at time of insertion was aweful, and 12 hours after.. felt like i was in labour.Now still having occasional sharp shooting pain in vagina and more so in my bum ???? Is this normal?? Another note.. I went back in yesterday cuz it still hurt and she checked on it, an dcouldnt find the strings.. so she doesnt think it was expelled, so i have to go for an ultrasound, but they r booking into late october.. any thought????
My wife thinks It is possably the effects of Cervadil or any other cervial diolating medicine. Give it a couple more days and the cramping should stop. Or possably an allergic to the copper of the iud. I dont know if GOD intended for women to have copper in thier vaginas. We have concidered similar family planning options but opted not to because of these exact concerns. Good Luck and please let us know how it goes.
