Question:

Parking in front of the Fire Hydrant???

I know its illegal to park in front of the Hydrant, and obviously if someone do, they would get a fine or car impounded etc. My friend said that if a car is parked in front of the Hydrant, and the firemen can't get through, they can break the car's window to slip the hose through it, and it would be perfectly fine and legal, is this true?? And if the owner sues the firemen, they can't right??

Answer:

why not use some nightlights?
Don't put weird things in the fire to see if they'll burn - this includes stones, batteries, bullets, freshmen Don't fall into the fire.
The materials you are asking about (glow in the dark) only work when either reflective by a light source or by chemical which is only temporary. The only answer which I can see (and you already stated you didn't like it) is night lighting. If shadows are the problem then it would mean a brighter light source. This can be obtained by small lights that plug directly into outlets along the pathway,. Another although you may not like the look inside your home, is rope lighting which plugs in at one end and runs 5-50 feet and will lay at the wall/floor (L) edge so you won't trip and is fairly bright. Shop around and look at the products, I'm sure there is something that will meet your fancy. Good luck.
