Answer:

No skunks don't climb trees. I think I would rather have the skunk than the nasty cats!
look those are wild animals and they will bite, scratch and attack you. the skunk can bite and will let you know what he is made of when he raises his tail. why not put out a bowl food out away from where you feed your kitties. call it creating a diversion for the skunk. on the other hand watch where the skunk comes from and follow him out to find and block the hole. be sure to keep your distance good luck and dont let mr. stinky spray you.
Really? Cause I've seen vids where feral cats and skunks are eating food together side by side must be a mean skunk you got. They can climb trees (Spotted skunks). Sorry can't be of more help. What kind of skunk is it?
Most likely a bad stabilizer bar end link. Those are known for making clunking noise when going over bumps.
I must admit that I chuckled when I read this question. In my country when we have a wild animal problem we call a charitable organisation called the RSPCA who will send a man round, catch the offending animal and release it into the wild away from people. I am assuming that this is not an option in america so here are a few suggestions for moving on the skunk. 1. The fence fix. Obvious really. Unless you have a super large garden then the skunk is tunneling in from the outside. Finding and plugging up any holes in the fence should at least make it more difficult for it to enter your garden. If this is not possible then, 2.The Vinegar fix. Somewhere in the back of my mind I have the idea that skunks do not like the smell of vinegar. You could strategically place rags soaked in vinegar around the perimeter of your garden. The smell should be enough to keep the skunk away, or, 3. The mirror fix. This is a little bit outside the box. Skunks are solitary animals and do not like other skunks. If confronted by another skunk they will almost always turn and run. So why not erect some small reflective barrier (a small clothes horse with mirrors/mylar on it) around where you put the cat food. When the skunk comes for its munch, it will see another skunk and ran away. The reason that the skunk is not running away is because it is not afraid of you. Shouting and clapping is little or no deterrent when free food is about. Holy ****! You have mountain lions in your back yard? How lucky! I would love to see some really dangerous animals in the wild. The most exotic thing around here are the squirrels.
