Question:

Should I let my child watch Megan is missing?

Its been tossed around between a few family members about letting my daughter who is now 12 watch megan is missing to show her what could really happen. She is at that age that she wants to do things and go places on her own, like watch up to the park, or to the store, and so on and don't understand why we won't let her. My views on the subject are that it will scare her, and maybe she will better understand, my other half don't agree and says she's to young to watch it. Our family feels different on it some say let her some say don't, so I'm asking parents everywhere at what age would you let your child watch that movie? Or maybe someone could suggest a better movie that will get the same point. Thank you all

Answer:

Tires should be picked for the job that you intend to do. If you plan to drive in snow a lot, snow tires would be better. Studded tires are illegal in California (check your state laws). They tear up the pavement.
All season tires are crappy in all seasons. they are bad in rain, snow, ice, mud, gravel. They are a cheap option for people who do not care about their own safety, or the safety of others. If you live, or frequently go where it snows, then winter tires are the way to go. Studded tires, check local laws about that. Tire shops should be able to answer this. Any winter tires made by well known brands (goodyear, bridgestoone, firestone, perelli.) all make great winter tires.
how slow do you want you PC to run? I use Zone Alarm Pro, I find it very user friendly and a powerful tool along with Force Field a virtual browser designed for IE and Firefox. Either remove Zone Alarm or turn of windows firewall, Zone alarm will remove from control panel add/remove programs. Personally I would stick with Zone Alarm, I have been using it since 486 days and not a complaint.
Winter tires are not like All-Season tires. Winter tires have special rubber compounds designed to improve traction, handling and braking in all cold weather conditions, not just ice and snow. Today's winter tires have different compounds and designs that deliver from 25 to 50 percent more traction in snow and ice, and stay pliable in cold weather allowing for more control on dry roads. Using just two on a vehicle creates a traction mismatch that can have serious handling consequences. Using four winter tires ensures optimum traction and control for all vehicle types. The best tire would be the bridgestone blizzak tire and you don't need studs.
