No, he deserves the whole $120M. The bstrds at CBS MSNBC clearly violated his contract, they had no right to fire him, they hired him to say provacative things. He's settling for less to leave an opening to come back, because he wants to be on radio again, though clearly he doesn't have a financial need to. I'd rather have seen him take the whole amount of damages he was entitled to, plus punitive damages, and then maybe after making a billion dollar mistake, some corporate PR suit will think before acting. Imus isn't a racist and neither am I. He was willing to admit he stepped over the line, he was willing to abide by a punishment that was stipulated in his contract (suspension). He was willing to apologize to the offended. The company he worked for violated his contract, and he's clearly entitled to damages.
