Answer:

Most puppies with a cleft palette do not survive beyond a few weeks, as they cannot suckle properly. Most breeders check for clefts at birth and euthanize the badly affected puppies rather than let them suffer.
You will have to bring this pup into your vet to be evaluated. If the pallet is very bad then the only kind thing is to put the pup down. If it isn't then it has to be surgically repaired. You have no way of knowing the pups outcome until your vet see this pup. Get him seen ASAP! Personally I would put the pup down if it's very bad. I think it cruel to see a pup starve to death or get very sick and just fade away because it cant suckle properly!
A puppy with a cleft palate will have to be tube fed. They can correct it with surgery but the puppy will have to be at least 3 months old.
I agree with the others-a vet visit is a NECESSITY! Your vet can tell you if the cleft can be repaired, but realise please that this will be fairly expensive, and you'll have a LOT of work ahead of you to keep the little one fed if the vet says surgery CAN be done in a few months. Please don't be upset if the vet says putting it down is the best thing for it.
Puppies with a cleft palate can't create enough suction to nurse. This puppy needs to be tube fed every 2 hours. You can go to your vet for supplies as well as info on exactly how to feed this puppy.
