Use this guide if you have multiple partitions and operating systems on your computer and want to change the default operating system that will boot up when you turn on your computer.
Assuming you're using GRUB, in Ubuntu, navigate to /boot/grub/ then open menu.lst. Count number the number of boot options in that file up until you see your Windows partition. Then change default 0 to the number you counted minus 1. For instance, if there are 4 entries up to and including the Windows option, then default is 3.
