I have a samsung e530 series phone and have bought a usb data cable so i can put my pics on my pc. Problem is the disc tells me that when i insert the cable i will get an install new hardware wizard to guide me through the installation. Nothing happens! The light on the cable lights up but nothing happens on computer screen. I have bought two cables as i thought it must have been faulty, same thing.What do i need to do i am very confused. Any help will be greatly appreciated, please try keeping it simple though as i am quite new to this. Thank you, Andy.
it is probably already installed. go to my computer and open it and it might be there already. most windows software will accept what you are doing without an install.
You can start the New Hardware Wizard from the Control Panel found in the Start Menu On my XP machine it's labeled Add Hardware
