Divide the top into 4 quadrants. Paint three of the quadrants white, paint the other quadrant black or use some sort of non-reflective material. Go out and buy an automobile timing light or some other strobe light that can be tuned to flash at different intervals. Spin the top against a black background and tune the light to flash only when the black quadrant is facing the light (you may have to play around with duration of flash and how much of the top is white and black, etc. to make this work). You can start out with the flash showing only the white area, and then tune it so it seems to disappear against the black background. I assume you want this for some sort of magic trick.
No but I hope you think about this question next time you need one. Cops go through allot of abuse, and are wrong no matter what they do. Very seldom does anyone tell them they are doing a fine job. I'm a ex- military Police and so I watch cops on T.V. all the time. Well sometimes I think the officer used to much force or was wrong, but then I thought about it and realized these officers are working in gang infested areas that you gain the highest honers for taking out a cop. These are not little p_ _ Saint towns. Every call the respond to and every traffic stop could be their last! That takes a brave man.
