I am a moderately talented poi user. I have been spinning poi for about two years, and it's developed into a passion. I really want to start spinning fire now. How do i go about it? What is the procedure for lighting a wick? How long do the heads last? Any tips?Also-What is the best type of clothing to wear? I did some research, and there seems to be some descrepancy as to what fabrics are best. Denim seems to be a favorite across the board, but what is best for tops?
They are extremely annoying and I try to avoid any areas that have them. Maybe that's the point, though - to get people to stay away, although some shopping centers have them.
Nearly all of them are safe at about 10 mphBut. They can even damage your body, suspension, tires and wheels, especially if you hit them at higher speeds and your car's shocks aren't very good. They can cause spinal injuries or aggravate pre-existing back problems as well. The most damaging bumps tend to not be on roads but in private parking lots. These may be too steep or designed such that it's hard not to scrape your undercarriage on them, no matter how slow you go. Also emergency service vehicles, ambulances, fire engines, police cars, can't help but hit speed bumps fast sometimes, so they get the worst damage..
The truth is, like them or not, they work. My opinion, on the other hand, dates back to a totally destroyed front spoiler on a '70 Mach 1 - and that opinion contains many words not suitable for a general audience.
It bites. How can they FOX let O'Reilly be brutally honest on that awful View talk show and then can William's butt when he says what many of us thinks when Muslims are dressed in full garb and look hateful of us horrible infidels? They're fun to hit going really fast and try to get some air under the vehicle, but everyone here has started goin to multiple tiny speed bumps so they don't mess up your carsucks.
