It would have to be durable enough to not chip of but really sticky on the rubber. Thanks!
Gloves, yes. Mask, no. He wont catch anything from leaves but may hurt himself from things under the leaves.
Better to remain a tight end than a wide receiver. I hate to say thisI really, really do but if you play a contact position of any kind, your going to get you a$$ kicked. If I were playing guys football against a girl, I'd make a point to show you why I didn't go out for the girl's softball team. If you aren't given special treatment, you're gonna get hurt. I would bring the pain just because of all the years I had gotten hurt a hundred times. Its not a girls game. Go play soccer. I'm really sorry and it isn't that you're a girl. If you weighed 220 and were 6'1 with a 500 lb squat and 425 on the bench, we'd drink a beer after practice bud. You oughta be the mascot.
Depending on its metal composition, a black steel may be strong but it lacks resistance against corrosion. Seamless Black steel are mostly used for boilers as boiler tubes. G.I. steel is used in open air as water pipes and has resistance against corrosion.
He is wiser than you about protection in the garden. Gloves are wise protection against getting cuts from anything else in the leaves as well as for comfort. Garden gloves with a reinforced palm are easy to find and inexpensive. Let him choose his own colors. A mask is very wise too - a simple cotton one or a head scarf tied bandit-style will protect his lungs from dust and most importantly from leaf mold spores which could infect his lungs and cause health problems Let him choose his own protection - after all, he is helping with the chores and is old enough to take responsibility for his personal safety Answers is a Jungle
As long as he's doing it, let him be a little paranoid. Plain jersey work gloves can be had for a dollar, and a simple dust mask for about the same ought to satisfy him.
