I don't know about PA employment laws, but you may as well file a claim and see where that takes you. If you find a job in the mean time, while the claim is being sorted and you are waiting for you hearing, then nothing lost. My gf was working in KS and quit her job because she was being sexually harrassed and upper management wouldn't fix it. She filed for and got unemployment.
~~Check to be sure there is no blockage on your lint filter or the surrounding compartment it sits in. Then go through your exhaust vent hose and make sure it is completely lint free-this causes many home fires. If all that checks out, you need a repairman asap.Good luck!~~
When I was a small child, we lost our home, everything we owned, and all our Christmas presents 2 weeks before Christmas, with no homeowners insurance. We were left with just the cars and the clothes on our backs. Replace the thing before you lose something more valuable, such as your kids.
make sure the filter is completely free of lint.clean the filter after each use. check the hose and the outside vent to make sure it is clean.
Fix or replace immediately. If it's too hot to put your hand on for a few seconds, it's not right. My guess is a bad thermostat.
