Question:

What is a metal or alloy that is very difficult to bend?

such as the type used on construction machines that enable the crane to lift tons of weight without bendingI'm not necessarily asking for what type of metal most cranes are made of, just what is the most durable type (or anything really) of metal that wont bend even if it was lifting tons of weight on one end.

Answer:

DON'T if you melt aluminium, it catch fireEver seen a battleship burn?
I do not know if this is THE number one strongest metal, but it is one of the very strongest metal alloy steelsIt is called, Inconel 625 which is just a trade nameI've attached a link below that will take you to a whole data sheet about itIf you want to know more (or in a different format) just search for it by nameTitanium is often thought of as the strongest metal, but it is notIts strength (using the term by a different definition) lies in the fact that it is both strong and light at the same time (and also in the presence of significant heat - that's why they use it in aircraft engines)But yes, Inconel 625 is way up there.
