I have heard that all full suspension bikes under ?1000 are not relaible and easly brake.is that true ? ?Should i get a hardtail bike than ? I am a beginnner.
I'm a relative beginner too so you'll probably get a more reliable answer than mine, I just wanted to tell you what I did in case it helps. I bought myself a full suspension bike first of all, nothing fancy, it was like ?100 in a sale so obviously wasn't anything good in the first place, and was definitely a bike-shaped object rather than anything you could actually be proud of but it did me for a while. Anyway, someone nicked it one day and I was SO glad. The thing with suspension is that if it's too soft, you lose loads of energy- I used to go out with my husband, who had a hardtail at the time but one of about the same value, and keeping up with him was an absolute nightmare. It was like one bump and all the momentum was gone and I had to start again, I thought maybe it was me but we swapped and it was the same, even with hard suspension. I now have a hardtail. The front doesn't lock out, which is something I'm definitely looking for when I come to replace it but I have no problems keeping up with him anymore, even though he now rides a hybrid with semi-slicks. I LOVE my hardtail, like actually really love it. I've never missed the suspension; the front is pretty rangy and couldn't be easier to adjust and I stand up so much I barely notice the back. The only thing I've done to it is change the tyres because the ones it came with were way too knobbly. I wish I could bunk off work every day so I can go riding but the mortgage calls. Anyway, personally I'd say hardtail, definitely. My understanding is the same as you too, that unless you're paying out a lot of money, full suspension isn't that great and I think you'd get more bike for your money with a hardtail rather than full suspension., but I am a real rookie with all of this so take as much salt as you like with my answer.
Um, i admire hardtails, even nevertheless I journey an XC comprehensive suspension motorcycle. i do no longer think of i could use a hardtail for downhill, truthfully. bypass bypass to three nearby motorcycle shops and tell them your plans and funds, and spot in the event that they are able to't hook you up with something on your funds, in spite of the fact that $4 hundred is amazingly proscribing.
