Question:

What is the best solder/flux combination for 1/2 copper pipes?

I‘m soldering in some replacement 1/2 shut-off valves in my basement, and the (water soluble) flux and (lead free) solder combo pack I picked up from the home improvement store is exceedingly difficult to work with. The old 50/50 lead solder used to be so easy to use. I‘ve heard that, even with the modern products available - buying higher quality soldering supplies can make this job a lot easier. What‘s the best?

Answer:

Buy NoKorode paste or use a flux that has solder in it like C-Flux. The C-Flux might be better for you because when you see the solder in the flux starting to appear, that's when you can apply additional solder off your roll. You need to do that anyway.
if the rear brakes are applying more of the braking then the front will dive down a bit. your issue is realted to momentum. have the brakes looked at.

i always preferred sterling solder and nokorode flux, c-flux is ok, make sure you clean the pipe and fittings
