Answer:

Sure - if you exceed the speed limit in the area, the speed bumps are designed to cause damage to your cars suspension, tires, frame, etc. Of course, they only work if people care about their cars. *grin*
I'm not religious and can't say I believe in ghosts or not because things like this thankfully havent occurred to me..but my roommate has things following him.. He has alwyas experienced things like that in the shower..knowing something is with you. He has even seen it. Heard foot steps, objects moving. He says what he does is to not think about it . Like, stuff HAPPENS to him and he FEELS things but he ignores it. He just learned to live with it I know it isn't the greatest option. but I honestly don't know what else to say. :l
Moving a fire hydrant is a very complicated, very EXPENSIVE proposition. You'd have to petition the city council to get it moved and you'd have to have one heck of a good reason building a ramp for a physically disabled person may be good enough, but if it's more for personal convenience you can forget it. You can also expect the city to be reluctant if there is another solution that doesn't involve moving the hydrant. But hey, you don't know until you try, so call the city and start off with the Department of Public Works. If they don't handle it, they can tell you who does.
they are not really meant to damage vehicles. this, however, does not mean that they can't. it is supposed to be a very uncomfortable effect, which it is, and i suppose if you were going really fast over one, it could damgage the car. or if you had a very low car and you scraped a bumper off or something. i live in michigan and we have the most horrid roads you can imagine. going by how poorly our roads are maintained, you can hit a speed bump sized pothole or otherwise on the highway and not worry. so from this i would say that to damage your car you would have to be going very very fast, or have it very low.
i love speed bumps i have a raised 4x4 just got new shocks in it :D they eat up speed bumps
