What're differents between Horizontal and Vertical Heat Exchanger ? Help me, thanks a lot?
If it is a gas/gas, gas/liquid or liquid/liquid exchanger with no phase change involved, then there is essentially no difference. If there is any two phase conditions then the hydraulics involving what the liquid and vapor will do must be taken into into consideration. For instances, you do not want the liquid to accumulate and then burp out of the exchanger. It needs to be moving out in a smooth and even manner.
