If he charged yo, get to the Police station within 24 hours of this happening with your ownership. They might drop the charge if you do that. If he hit your hand when you had your cell phone in it, that is assault, plain and simple. I live in Southern Ontario. What that cop did was wrong. If you were not driving impaired, you best find yourself a lawyer and talk to him/her about what occurred at that stop. I never leave the house without a video camera of some sort. In the car, I take one of my 3 Canon ZR camcorders, a few spare batteries and tapes, you never know when needed. I no longer drive a car, they took my driving abilities away due to my health issues, thank god, I have driven enough in my life, over 5 million miles in less than 31 years. Most of those miles, I had a video camera with me.
