i have a 2005 scion tc and i wanna make it sound mean. should i‘ve looked at cold air intakes but should i get that or an exhaust system or a muffler? i also want to make it fell like it has more power. would the cold air intake do that?
remove the catalytic converter and get a flowmaster super 44 performance muffler.
its barely a 15 second car. Save up for a fast car.
muffler will make it sound louder and help exhaust flow a little--cold air intake will help for about 3% increase in power--if you really want to wake it up find a turbo set up and install--turbo is about the cheapest thing to install for increased power-they came from the factory on some TC's--as you know the little engine doesn't have a lot of horsepower so the turbo is your best bet--I have 2 XB's- so while I am not a speed merchant I do know a little about them--good little cars
