Question:

What year house should I look for if I want insulation, good plumbing, etc.?

My house was built in the 30s and it has no insulation, old pipes that break, etcI want a house that has good insulation, modern pipes, etcWhat year did they start putting that stuff in housesIf I look for houses built after 1980, will that be OK?

Answer:

Fry itadd spices like cayenne pepper, cumin, ginger and fenneladd vegetables you likeYummy.
well for the shrimp just toss it in butter add a chopped parsely and grill it.it'll really taste goodfor your tilapia what you can do is just simmer it in coconut milk and the flavor of the tilapia will infuse well with the coconut milk as your sauce
Shrimp is easyTake a sauce pan with some garlic (jar is fine) and butter and add the cleaned shrimpAdd a jar of alfredo sauce and simmer until the shrimps are all pinkServe over pasta with fresh breadI don't like tilapia as it's a soft fleshed fishI like my fish firm like salmonYou can bake it, thoNot too heavy on the sauce as it will make the fish mushyShrimp are simple, Tilapia is harder.
There are no guarantees that any house is well insulated because people have cut-corners with home construction over the yearsYou can, however, look at a few things to satisfy your curiosityFirst, look at any exposed pipes in the basement or access areasWater supply and drain lines should be copper or PVCIf the water lines are threaded steel you will know there could be problems aheadYou can't see how much insulation is in the walls but you should be able to climb a step-ladder to look into the attic to see how well it's insulatedMost reputable builders observed proper building standards starting in the 1980's so that should give you an era to startGood luck!
