Question:

When cars on lift, only one wheel spins while in drive.?

I have an 03' Toyota Corolla FWD. I had it on a lift to check it out. I turned it on and put it in drive. only the RF wheel spins normal, but the LF wheel only spins when given enough gas. Is this normal or is it a problem?

Answer:

it is completely normal, FWD cars dont have a locked differential in the front. that means that only one wheel will be powered when the car is driven. the same goes for RWD cars that dont have a limited slip differential or a posi rear-end.
