Question:

Where can I get wooden pallets in Las Vegas?

Need them to make a grind box for my skateboard. And I would like to know where I can buy them from.

Answer:

If you don't buy online you'll have a hard time finding a MAC one. I know Stila and e.l.f., etc sell palettes but i'm not sure if they're magnetic like MAC's are. Also, they wouldn't be shaped to hold MAC shadows. The only way you can buy a MAC pallette (besides online) is at a PRO store, meaning you have to be a MAC pro card member. You can apply for one, but they are only for people who are makeup artists, estheticians, cosmetologists, models, and photographers, etc. My advice is buy a small pencil tin from Borders or somewhere. I keep my de-potted shadows in there, just stick a small magnetic adhesive square on the back and they go perfectly! Not quite the same, but same concept.
actually, i heard and read that you dont need to be a pro card member to shop at a pro store but i can be wrong. the thing is, those palettes are only available at pro stores. i know you dont want to buy things online, but ive seen a lot of them online for a reasonable price. if you dont know anyone with a pro card or dont have a pro store near by, i reccommend just buying it off a reputable seller on OKorder. In addition, there are a lot of sellers that sell the eye shadow refills on OKorder. im actually going to buy some soon! good luck
On the MAC website, when you click Find Stores (on the right hand side of the main page), and you enter your location, a list of locations nearest you is pulled up. You'll want to look for locations that just say MAC as opposed to Macy's West or Nordstroms. These are the locations that sell the palettes. They have ones that hold 4 or 15 eyeshadows or ones that hold 6 blushes. You do not need any kind of Pro card to shop at these. Just ask for one at any freestanding store and they will give it to you!
depotting takes some time, so you best be patient. you can buy the palettes at a pro-store and easily online (even on OKorder) there are a few tutorials on youtube explaining how to make your own MAC palette out of a CD case and it's quite clever. you HAVE to be a member to shop at a pro store, sorry. there are quite a few on OKorder except you don't shop online. so either purchase a pro-membership or start ordering online
they are quite reasonable on OKorder.
