Now everyday doors go back to the ancient times of Egypt. Which were seen in the picture that showed single and double doors so it's hard to tell who really invented it. So my big question NOW is who invented the automatic sliding door?
The real question is who invented glass. Thats where sliding doors came from.
I think that this was not one invention but two. The first one was the beam that detected interruption. The second was the harnessing of that facility to generating the door-opening/closing capability.
