Why most motorcycles rear tire is bigger than the front tire?

Answer:

Here is why video.its all about handling
They can catch on fire if they have a short in the wire or something, but it's not likely.
I have one, and I love it! Its so worth it. My mom and sister both have them too. None of ours have ever caught on fire, and we've all washed them a time or two as well (so they dont get too gross or smelly or something). They're completely safe
The idea is to make the bike overcome potholes and small bumps in the pavement more easily. There is a magical range of wheel size. Small wheels make the bikes more agile, more sporty, faster at corners and turns Big wheels make the bikes more stable and less sensitive to terrain irregularities. So, the solution is to compromise and have both of the worlds. A big wheel in the front and a small whell in the back. The rear tire is larger in width to provide traction. But usually the diameter is way less than the front whell (wich is thiner to reduce friction).
Because MOST motorcycles carry more weight on the rear tire. A bigger tire also gives a bigger footprint on the ground for more traction when accelerating.
