I just bought a motorcycle and when I got it home I discovered that the front wheel will turn all the way right and back straight again, but not leftdoes anyone know why this might be? thanks
Let me guess, you drove it home and it was OK. Turned it off and now it is right turn only. Sounds like you accidentally actuated the fork lock when the wheel was turned to the right. Try re-inserting the key, turn it to the on position and see if the forks will turn left now. The lock position on most is counterclockwise to the left, beyond the off position.
Maybe it's a flat track or Speedway bike! I would agree that you should check your cables for proper routing if not the other suggestions. They(cables) can limit steering travel if not routed correctly.
