She's 4, almost 5 years old and she's been doing this for probably 2 1/2 years now, with the same quot;blankiequot;.She does it when she's watching tv or lying down for bedShe has to have a corner in her mouth to suck on and chew onYou can imagine what the blanket looks like by now, lolI wash it every 2-3 daysI've tried to buy her new blankets, but she doesn't want them, she wants hers.Anyways, is she slowly ingesting anything harmful that may cause her problems, like dye(s) or fibers from the blanket?Also, why do you think she has this habit? Was she scarred in some way when she was little? I've tried breaking her of this habit, and when she can't suck the blanket like she wants, she gets really fidgety and irritable.it almost seems like she's an addict going through withdraw.What is your opinion? Help!
