Question:

Yes, i mean copper chloride?

supposedly to kill fungus in shoes so a fungus that i am treating will not return. So besides buying new shoes at this time, i want to try putting the copper chloride in the shoe which is supposed to kill the fungus for 1 month

Answer:

Copper provides low to moderate control of many fungal and bacterial diseases. Copper is a foliar fungicide and bactericide with protective action. The fungicidal activity of copper is based on its ability to destroy proteins in plants. Historically Copper Sulfate has been used, but Copper Chloride will work to as it’s the copper killing the fungus. I don’t know if you really want to use a copper salt in your shoes as it will most likely color your toes blue or green. Incidentally, copper is used with human foods – and animal feeds, to reduce microbial activity.
