Question:

2003 ford ranger air intake sensor location?

Trying to find the ATS on my 2003 ford ranger 4X4 edge with a 3.0 V6 engine. Where exactly on the air intake system is this located and what it might look like?

Answer:

i think what your looking for is called the IAT intake air temp. sensor and on the 03 ranger it is Incorporated into the MAF mass air flow sensor which should be mounted on the air filter box 6 wires going to it on one side should be gray/red then the the other end is gray with 4 wire in between
These problems are tricky. If its an AutoZone battery, its not good, trust me, they will be saying that it charges, but only holds a charge for a while. The problem is in the battery, the plastic walls keeping the lead or acid apart corrode and unites positive and negative, creating a short and draining the battery slowly, just go to another parts store to be sure and it could be just that.
